Ninth Session: Structural Integration (SI)
This session is for the upper body – primarily the shoulders and arms.
The arms have not been worked on in previous structural sessions, so this was a bit intense. Maybe more so, because I’m a massage therapist, but I’m sure it’s intense for anyone who uses their hands, arms or shoulders all day for their job.
Once again, after the session my body feels great, though under my shoulder was a little painful for a couple of days. Nicole worked again on the shoulder girdle (the muscles attaching to the shoulder), at the joints, and then deep work throughout the arm, wrist and hand.
For those who work with their hands, this is painful, but completely worth it.
