What to Expect?
What can massage and craniosacral (CST) do for you?
Both of these treatments are designed to use your own body’s natural ability to heal itself and promote well being. Current research is beginning to validate what most clients already know about massage and CST: While not a replacement for medical care, it can ease or prevent many common ailments that are plaguing our bodies.
Massage can help with:
- Decreasing stress
- Increasing circulation
- Improving joint range of motion
- Diminish aches and pains, including headaches
- Reduce anxiety and depression, including problems with PTSD
- Help in treating many ailments including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia
For a massage session, plan on arriving a few minutes early to unwind and prepare for your massage. You will be asked to undress to your comfort level – you will however be completely modest as you will be under blankets throughout your massage. Please leave jewelry at home. Remember, this is your time to relax, please turn off your cell phone.
Afterwards, please drink plenty of water and stretch, as doing such will help you to enjoy your experience better.

For a CTS Treatment, you will remain fully clothed, so please wear something comfortable if possible. Your treatment will begin with the therapist touching various areas of the body to monitor the rhythm of the fluid that is flowing around your central nervous system. By carefully listening to the different rhythms of the body, the therapist can trace the source of of weakness through the body to the original source of malfunction.
Delicate manual techniques are then used to release those problem areas and improve the form and function of the central nervous system.
What you experience during and after your own session is highly individual, but generally very relaxing.
